  1. Hello! I totally dig your music. I’m an old college acquaintance of travis, kirk, et al. I heard your old stuff a while back, I think Kirk used it in a short. So I’m wondering, where do I get my hands on a CD? Is downloading from your buy tracks, the best way to get the songs? How do I get all the songs? Also, you have an album coming out? That is sweet. You’re super talented, I hope that your music takes off– it totally belongs in a major motion picture. ANyways…I’m recording my own singles this fall and spring with a hopeful release date next summer. Have some really old songs on the website.
    Take care. And keep writing.

    • Hey there:) Thanks a lot for the message. Best way to get the older tracks is at http://raidetroit.bandcamp.com/
You will find the whole run down there. It’s super encouraging to hear you say all that… I hope one day I can make a living doing what i do:) that would be awesome. In the meantime, yes, I am currently recording a new EP/Album. I hope your music is going well too!! take care

  2. Hi, i really wanted to know how you painted your guitar? I tried using acrylic paints on mine, but i didn’t sand the finish and so i can basically scrape the paint off anytime. So i wanted to know what you did, like varnish, or sandpaper, or the type of paints, anything. thanks, Rahul

P.S. i didn’t know how to ask you so i hope this works

    • Well… it’s hard to say what i did… but i think I had used spray mount… covered the guitar with magazine pictures and then used a clear finish on it. I think it was some sort of gloss finish you would used to decoupage. Then I painted over that…. and might have repeated that process once more. I remember there being lots of layers. it wasn’t a conscious decision so that why I can’t tell you exactly what I did. I would say the decoupage approach is your best bet tho… then the paint sticks and you can varnish or what ever on top of that. I just used acrylic paint. Hope this is helpful! Good luck decorating!

  3. well then maybe when i get inspired again thanks a lot : )
i love your blog and your music
